I really enjoyed the mention of the management's ability to spot the industry trends. While in legacy sectors the strength of the business model can work as "autopilot", in tech you really invest in the CEO's ability to see the future and execute towards it.

As investors we paint a model of reality and predict the future based upon that. However, we only know so much. If a CEO continuously invests in their predictions and proves themselves over and over, you need to adjust your model of reality to reflect their competence.
